Oberlin Teens – Where Faith Comes Alive (Grades 7-12)
Our teen ministry at Oberlin Alliance Church is more than just a weekly gathering—it’s a dynamic community where teenagers discover that faith isn’t something you just talk about on Sundays, but something that transforms how you live every day. We’ve created a space where students can bring their real questions, face their actual challenges, and find authentic support from peers and caring adults who genuinely invest in their lives.
What Makes Us Different
Real Talk, Real Faith
We don’t shy away from the tough stuff. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety about your future, struggling with friendships, questioning aspects of faith, or navigating family challenges, our ministry provides a safe space for honest conversation. We believe that faith grows strongest when it’s tested by real-life experiences, not sheltered from them.
Community That Actually Cares
This isn’t a place where you sit in the back and hope nobody notices you. Our teens genuinely look out for each other, celebrate each other’s wins, and offer support during difficult times. You’ll find friendships here that extend far beyond Sunday nights—friends who will text you encouragement before your big test and pray with you when life gets overwhelming.
Leaders Who Remember Being Teenagers
Our adult leaders aren’t trying to be your friends—they’re something better. They’re mentors who remember what it felt like to be your age, who can offer wisdom without judgment, and who are committed to helping you become the person God created you to be. They’ll challenge you to grow while supporting you exactly where you are.

The Bottom Line
At Oberlin Alliance Church Youth Ministry, we believe your teenage years aren’t just something to survive—they’re a crucial time to discover who you are, what you believe, and how God wants to use your life to make a difference in the world. You’re not too young to have a real relationship with God, and you’re not too young to start making a positive impact.
Come discover what it looks like when faith gets real, community gets genuine, and your life gets purpose.
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” – 1 Timothy 4:12
