Nursery & Pre-K Ministry

At Oberlin Alliance Church, we believe even the smallest hearts can know the greatest love. Inspired by Mark 9:36-37, where Jesus embraces a child and says, “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me, receives not me but Him who sent me,” our Nursery and Pre-K Ministry is far more than childcare—it’s a joyful first step in a child’s journey with Jesus. Designed for infants through pre-K (ages 0–5), this ministry wraps your little ones in a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment where they’re loved, cared for, and introduced to God’s truth in ways that spark wonder.

A Place to Grow in God’s Love

Our dedicated volunteers—background-checked and trained—create a warm, clean, and secure space where your child’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met. From diaper changes to snack time, we handle the details with care so parents can worship and engage in church life with peace of mind. But it’s more than that: we’re planting seeds of faith through:

• Simple Truths: We teach foundational lessons like “God loves me,” “God made me,” and “Jesus is my friend” through age-appropriate Bible stories, using colorful books and gentle storytelling.

• Songs & Prayer: Little ones sing songs like “Jesus Loves Me” and hear short prayers, building trust in God’s presence from their earliest days.

• Play with Purpose: Through playtime, crafts, and cuddles, we show kids that church is a fun, caring community where they belong.
