Our Food and Clothing Ministries
At Oberlin Alliance Church, we believe Jesus calls us to love our neighbors with open hearts and open hands. Our Food Pantry and Clothing Ministry are two ways we live out this calling, offering practical help to anyone in the Oberlin community—no questions asked, no strings attached. Located right in our church building, these ministries provide free food and clothing to those in need, reflecting the love and generosity of Christ. Whether you’re facing a tough season or just need a little support, we’re here to walk alongside you.
Food Pantry
On the first floor of our church, the Oberlin Alliance Food Pantry serves as a welcoming hub where anyone can find nourishment for body and soul. Stocked with non-perishable essentials—such as canned vegetables, pasta, cereals, and more—our pantry is sustained by the generosity of our congregation. Their heartfelt contributions keep our shelves full, ensuring that families, individuals, and anyone in need can access food and clothing at no cost.
How It Works
If you or someone you know is in need, please call the church to schedule an appointment for food or clothing assistance. Our friendly volunteers will assist you in selecting items that suit your household’s needs, often offering a warm smile and, if desired, a prayer.
Clothing Ministry
Upstairs on the second floor, our Clothing Ministry is a treasure trove of gently used clothes, free for anyone who needs them. From warm coats for winter to school uniforms, work attire, or everyday basics, we offer a variety of sizes and styles for men, women, and children. It’s a place where you can shop with dignity, finding what fits your life without worrying about cost.

Our Heart for Oberlin
Rooted in the Great Commission and Jesus’ call to serve “the least of these” (Matthew 25:40), our Food Pantry and Clothing Ministry are extensions of our faith in action. We’re here to meet practical needs while sharing the hope of Christ, one meal and one outfit at a time. Whether you’re seeking help, donating, or volunteering, you’re part of our family at Oberlin Alliance Church.
